Peacecore Yoga
Investing time and effort is essential for our good health and wellbeing. With the right tools, this time can be used to change how we feel. The aim at Peacecore Yoga is to teach people the tools and techniques available and give them a framework and understanding to ensure they can use them safely and effectively. Knowing how to help and heal yourself, allows us to form healthy habits and recognise what works to maintain our health. This understanding gives us to ability to adapt as our bodies and life situations change.

My original training in Dynamic Yoga, provides a system of yoga which can be taught to anyone and allows you to practise yoga safely and effectively, by learning "focused attention" to the body. By fostering the art of deep listening to the sensations of the body, we can tune in to it's workings and wisdom and learn to heal ourselves.

Synchronising the breath and our movements, we can learn integrate the mind and body. This integration helps ground our daily life in the here and now.

I have been practising yoga for 30 years and teaching it for 22. Whilst I specialise in Pregnancy and Post Natal Yoga, I have taught students of every age and ability from pregnancy to those over 90. I teach children and teens, senior clients and people with Dementia. I have worked post operatively with clients and used restorative yoga postures to support a return to health. This experience alongside using yoga to relieve Stress, Anxiety and Depression, has lead me to understand the importance of treating the whole person. So whether its headaches, postural pain, injury, stress and anxiety or a hormonal change in your life, there is a way to practise yoga that can work for you.
As well as my core training, I have studied courses with Birthlight, Teen Yoga Foundation, The Special Yoga Centre and continued my development with Sandra Sabatini, Jo Kemp (Way of Soma) & The Minded Institute. I learnt so much from practising Dynamic Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Jivamukti Yoga. Many years working for Sure Start, the Monroe Health Charity, Yogahome, The Special Yoga Centre and Brent council, as well as more than 10 years at my local studio, Gracelands Yard, have given me the hands on experience of how people learn and heal.
I have been studying Homoepathy since I was 18 and qualified with the Lakeland College of Homeopath in 2002

Yoga and Homeopathy, together with my many years experience as a Massage therapist, give me the tools and understanding to help people feel better.
